Released amidst their 13 day tour around the UK, Brighton’s jangle-psych quartet Hutch boast their new, happy go lucky, rainbow inspired track.
Although the summer weather may have just reached its end, ‘The Bow’ invites you to dance, jump about, and reminisce on those warm sunny days. A cocktail of shiny synths and shimmering guitars match their contagion of a chorus, leaving you with a smile that’s hard to remove as we head into autumn.
With a love for Australian psych-pop, the four-piece are joined by Robert Smyth (AKA Bobby Smiles) at Brighton Electric Studios, bringing that same rapturous energy to an English coast. Featuring euphoric beats throughout and a range of experimental sounds, no verse is the same, and every second invites you into what’s next of ‘The Bow’. A great guessing game for what’s actually at the end of those rainbows.
Speaking on the single, the band share, “If ‘Boogie Wonderland’ had a baby with ‘Tomorrow Never Knows’, The Bow would be that baby. Written with its vibrant and punchy live impact in mind, we infused this raucous, festival-ready party atmosphere with luscious harp and spacey psychedelic guitars to create a high tempo party song with an infectious chorus!”
