Not content with playing like all the other young dudes in our new-found era of isolation rock n roll, Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard know exactly how to cause a stir in this big old goofy world.
Paying inspiration to all the cosmic dancing surrealist’s out there making noise, the strut quartet share their latest single ‘Hollywood Actors’ with the announcement of an upcoming debut EP, ‘Non-Stop’ (via Communion).
Like the lucent beads of an untameable-y shakin’ flappers gown, ‘Hollywood Actors’ is dripping with glam, dazzling craftmanship and high kickin’ durability and genuinely, you wouldn’t be blamed for wanting to totally strip down and let loose to this number.
Of the track lead-captivator Tom Rees says: “Lyrically, it stemmed from this habitual thing I keep doing when watching films, where I suddenly realise that everybody in the film is just acting, and the whole film becomes completely surreal and you realise how mental the film industry is.”
With more captivated delight and, decadently foiled fuzz than Starman dancing with a box of Celebrations in a John Lewis Christmas ad, there is, a freak out guitar solo three minutes in and it is, everything our shower-time mime sessions could ever dream of.
“Swear by the moon, everyone’s losing their minds.”
