Listen: First Vinyl Staircase Release New One ‘Last I Heard’ Ahead Of London Headline Show

Ever since Vinyl Staircase joined our bill for So Young Festival in August we’ve been eager to hear more from them. In their short time in the public eye, they’ve gained fans in Indie giants, Wolf Alice as well as vast admirers in the capitals small venues. Today the band send a new track called ‘Last I Heard’ and it comes straight from their upcoming  Self Titled EP. Produced in their DIY studio in hometown, Dorking, Vinyl Staircase have managed to channel that 90s Manchester spirit whilst giving it the psych wash that they’ve gained a reputation for. Talking about the track, the band add “In late 2017, after testing various methods of recording, we finally hit upon a style and sound that suited us. We set about capturing four tracks that were highlights from our live show”. Give ‘Last I Heard’ a listen below and then get yourself a ticket to their debut London headline show at Birthdays, Dalston. It’s TOMORROW! We’ve heard it’s their set closer too so learn the words!
