Listen: Glasgow’s VLURE Release New Single ‘Heaven Sent’

A crowd favourite finally sees the light as Glaswegian five-piece, VLURE birth their anguish-like beats on ‘Heaven Sent’.

With just one listen, you can imagine the electricity in a packed-out room, as their rapturous sounds do battle – with throbbing beats and frontman, Hamish Hutcheson’s, strong vocals. A magnetic trance throughout turns this poem into a head-banging groove, unique to anything familiar on the Glasgow scene.

Their voracious reputation brings the tenderness of these lyrics into a new realm, like a heavy set of armour that protects the heart. As much as the words describe a willingness and want to fall in love, the naive nature of youth is matched seamlessly with their gritty tone.

Speaking on the single, ”’Heaven Sent’ is a love song, through the eyes of hedonistic adolescence. Living for the moment, without fear of consequence. Disregarding the obvious downfalls of relationships or love and romanticising each small good part.”

The single comes ahead of their 100 Club headline gig on 4th December.
