Gothenburg group Sylvie’s Head have released an electrifying new track ‘Frankie’, an exploration of catharsis and holding onto that momentum.
‘Frankie’ punches from the start, a range of electronic synth and raw guitar chords blend into a disjointed opening verse. The instrumentals move faster than the nonchalant vocalism that lies in its own confidence. ‘Frankie’ is a taster of the band’s upcoming debut album, ‘Everything is Free’, set to cement the group’s club-rock sound.
The band describe the track in their own words, “the body, face and soul of an initiate is golden. Feeling the egg cracking up and sugary powder running through your fingers. Ecstasy – this is it – electric dread in pure daylight”.
