Amyl and the Sniffers release ‘Monsoon Rock’ and announce debut album

Following a huge 2018 which saw Australia’s Amyl & the Sniffers steal the show at The Great Escape and sign to Rough Trade Records in the UK, the band have now announced their debut album. The record will be out on May 24th and today they’ve released the first single from it, ‘Monsoon Rock’.

The band are well know for their high octane, exhilarating live shows and ‘Monsoon Rock’ is a single that serves a purpose. Get people moving. The band elaborate on the beginnings of the track “Monsoon Rock is just a song to rage to and celebrating good gigs/live music,we wrote it around the time of Gizzfest 2017 when it was pissing down with rain but everybody still got into it, just muddier and wetter and real feral”.
