Track: Baxter Dury – ‘Aylesbury Boy’
Taken from his seventh studio album, the new track ‘Aylesbury Boy’ sees a collaboration with R&B/Soul singer JGrrey and explores themes of travelling from one home to another, with inspiration from hit Anime characters. There’s an emotional weight to the tune that draws out the unique language of Baxter’s imagination.
What They Said: “This song is about coming from one place and arriving at another without fitting in to either, and I think of these people like characters from Studio Ghibli’s Spirited Away.”
