London’s Gently Tender have been built up as a super group of former Palma Violets members as well as a member of The Big Moon but with each release they’re earning their own identity. The band have recently released their single ‘Some Hard Advice’ and they’ve backed that up with their first proper video. They directed it themselves and frontman, Sam Fryer had a bit to say on the process “This is the first video we have directed ourselves and it was created with the invaluable help of some very close friends of ours. We felt that a simple performance video was right for this song as we didn’t want to distract too much from the song itself. We wanted the soul of the song to come across, uncomplicated by over performance or over editing.”
The video serves as a proper introduction to Gently Tender and you can catch them live at the below dates soon.
