Track: lilo – ‘Just A Thought’

The alt-folk meets classic country duo share an accompanying music video for their track ‘Just a Thought’. Alongside this, a limited edition vinyl of their April EP ‘I Don’t Like My Chances On The Outside’ drops this Friday.

What They Said: “Inspired by a ‘Chicken Cinema’ video idea we’ve had for so long it had started to become lilo lore. Having seen several iterations until we settled on it being a revenge fantasy – the chicken representing the body of a person who has wronged us and the cinema their funeral venue.”

“A bit of a caricature where we play witches, filming was fun for the first hour and biting into a fake heart felt like the ultimate gothic nightmare. However, for the rest of the day, covered in treacle and red food colouring, it was quite unbearable. We had hoped that it might be an uncomfortable watch, but the Hello Mary team have truly made it more disgusting than we ever could have wished for.”
