Track: Moreish Idols – ‘Chum’
London post-punk five-piece drop their final single on the countdown towards their latest EP release, ‘Lock Eyes and Collide’, available 28th April. This grungy noise-pop track plays the last card in what we can predict to see from the rest of the collection and shares a Sonic Youth-esque discord.
What They Said: “‘Chum’ is our latest single, a sacred offering to the hungry sharks out there. It’s a bittersweet story about a pair of lost souls getting mad at each other. Our new EP ‘Lock Eyes and Collide’ is born out of a shift in artistic approach. Focusing more on personal experiences and how people can change when they collide with life’s challenges. We’ve tried to shed light on the strengths of each of our roles within the band with care and vulnerability, giving each of us a place to be heard.”
