Watch: L.A Peach releases video for single ‘I Can Remember Where You Are’

With the upfront romance of Father John Misty and a Mac DeMarco twang, London-based L.A Peach uses his intricate power for storytelling in new single ‘I Can Remember Where You Are’.

Carrying soulful indie pop melodies throughout, ‘I Can Remember Where You Are’ displays L.A Peach at his most creative. The extroverted newcomer’s latest entry is bold and shimmery and delivers smooth sun-kissed pop at its most superior.

To describe the track in the simplest of terms, it is a haunting love song about a love so dear that it drives you crazy. A far cry from what the delicate melodies suggest. About the video, L.A Peach said: “This is me at my most fabulous, semi-naked, and vulgar. I’ve worked tirelessly to create something that will change your life, ruin your day, and bring your libido right back to the forefront of your mind!”

His desire to keep light hearted comedy alongside his music comes into play throughout the music video. Dancing and stripping in a shower under the dim glow of a purple light inside a suburban house, the song becomes a visual craziness with an intriguing element, making it the perfect finishing touch for the record.

Coming off the back of support slots with Trudy and the Romance, Walt Disco and Drug dealer, we see a step in a slick and powerful direction for LA Peach. A direction that will surely turn heads.
