Leeds-based duo TURNSPIT announce themselves for 2026 with beguiling new cut ‘HAVE A HEART’
Channeling the electro-guided dream-pop of Robbie & Mona or James K, TURNSPIT’s new single ‘HAVE HEART’ is as urgent and pulsating as it is floaty and light, channeling our collective left-of-centre desire to re-evaluate the cultural legacy of the trip-hopping 2000s. Entirely self-produced, just like each of their releases to-date, it’s music that effortlessly spills out the speakers, breathy synths and hooky melodies lifting you into its orbit, rushing you around the sun before laying you back down to earth.
Coming from a city that’s busy churning out a fascinating new generation of acts, TURNSPIT, with little more than a steady stream of tantalising releases and a pocketful of live shows to their name, are a band to keep in the periphery.
