After her hugely successful tour with Sports Team and a string of festival dates including The Great Escape on the horizon, Dutch songwriter Pip Blom has released a brand new single in the form of the raucous ‘Pussycat’ as well as revealing details of her forthcoming EP ‘Paycheck’. The EP, released through Nice Swan Records, will be available in full on 24th August, so mark those diaries.
The single and EP opener, ‘Pussycat’, sees a collision of distorted guitars and attitude laden vocals; the track feels like Blom is absorbing the growing attention and flaunting her talents. ‘Pussycat’ is soaked in whats becoming Blom’s signature cool stress free aura while the slacker rock groove is infectious making it another Pip Blom ear worm.
