Experimental outfit Los Bitchos release their latest single ‘Pista (Great Start)’ digitally and on a 7” via Bad Vibrations August 12.
If there were to be a manifesto of an artist ‘Pista (Great Start)’ is a well-defined declaration of how Los Bitchos plan on running their musical administration. From the get-go there is an air of assurance emblazoned on all of the intricacies that are in play within the tracks three minute existence.
The internationally formed group consisting of members from Perth, Stockholm, Montevido and Croydon fashion instrumentals that take the listener on a trip through experimental garage psych akin to The Parrots, but with a definite knack for creating avant-garde party jams that evoke a Swedish pop frolicking.
Los Bitchos have already performed support slots with the likes of Bill Ryder Jones, Bodega, The Murlocs and more and with Alex Kapronos of Franz Ferdinand on production – which leads to the industrial sounding guitars that lay the groundworks for the psychedelic onslaught in the tracks conclusion – the foundations laid in the bands formative chapter are surely something to keep tabs on.
