Listen: Newcastle-upon-Tyne Duo lots of hands Sign to Fire Talk and Share ‘rosie’

Newcastle duo lots of hands return with a large soundscape and a delicious taste of what’s to come.

With a self-engineered instrumental and solemn lyrics, lots of hands show great ambition and potential on their latest track. Throughout ‘rosie’, an acoustic guitar follows us playing a solemn minor-based chord progression not too dissimilar to one played by Alex G or Elliot Smith. An electric guitar joins for the chorus creating a rough contrast from the dreamy verses. Billy Woodhouse produces a valiant vocal performance with major filtering and alteration to fit the narrative lyrical themes.

Forming 5 years ago, the cult geordie duo come off of shows supporting Blue Bendy and new label mates Cola, and ‘rosie’ is the first sign of what’s to come over the course of the year for lots of hands.
