Preview: VISIONS Festival 2015

Next Saturday (August 8th) will see us jumping on the Central Line and heading to Hackney for a day of drinking, eating and listening to some of the best new sounds of 2015. Taking place over 5 venues and 2 outdoor spaces in the heart of East London, Visions festival celebrates all the good stuff. As well as a line up full of So Young favourites, Visions boasts an ale and food festival hosted by local pub the Adam And Eve, screen printing classes, record and art markets plus AV installations.

If all goes to plan and the craft beer and deep fried pigs ears don’t get the better of us, this is how we intend on spending the day;

Having spent a couple of hours at St John Church getting beery we’ll head over to Moth Club for Claw Marks and issue six and seven favourites, The Big Moon.

We’ll then sprint to Oval Space (beer makes me run faster) for Spanish party animals, Hinds. Then back to Moth Club for Theo Verney…

Finally, we’ll make The Laundry our base to finish off with Toy and the mighty Fat White Family.

Follow us on Instagram (@soyoungmagazine) during the day to see what we’re up to and send us photos of your experience at Visions. Also let us know your plans for after activities in the smoke.
