In Print: So Young Issue Sixty-Two
Issue Sixty-Two marks the halfway point for 2026 and drops off the back of a heatwave. The sunshine has teased the festival season but it’s in the sweaty, small- but growing- rooms that Bleech 9:3 have been causing chaos. As every show that’s made public sells out, the band confess that in the background they’ve been the subject of a label bidding war. Now signed with Polydor and the debut EP under their belt, longtime favourites Bleech 9:3 are on the cover. We chat to them about the unexpected impact of a relentless tour schedule, trusting the gut when singing to a major record label, and staying true to the art in order to avoid being the ‘next’ anything.
Accessory in Issue Sixty-Two
A band who have just been on the road with our cover stars are Limerick’s THEATRE. The five-piece are preparing to release their long awaited debut EP and they took our call to discuss the impact of Irish and English folk, and the careful approach they’ve taken to be sure that they haven’t given too much away in the formative stages of the band.
feeble little horse are back. The band have dropped a surprise third record, all at once, no singles. Like the rappers. With a change of lineup impacting their ability to make the music that came before, and with particular reference towards a shift from guitar to the computer, we speak with Lydia and Seb on ‘bitknot’.
Lip Critic inside Issue Sixty-Two
NYC’s Lip Critic have been taking over unconventional spaces and bringing sonic and visual chaos in a way that feels refreshing. It’s great to have them back in the magazine to discuss the theme of the new record ‘Theft World’ and a little about Wetherspoons too.
In London, via Cambridge, Tommy Barlow has just signed to Young. The singer-songwriter and producer is prolific and admits to having thousands of songs. Via streaming services, at the time of writing, there is just one. We catch up with Tommy to talk about the new music, developing sounds, and his lack of interest in the band world.
Tennessee’s Zoh Amba is now in New York and signed to Matador. Their upcoming new album ‘Eye’s Full’ is full of guts and has quite quickly become one of our favourite new discoveries. Our interview spans the new music, addiction, poverty and the hope in young people protesting ICE. Staying in the states, Jason Balla is behind the project Accessory. Taking time away from his regular band, Dehd, his album ‘Dust’ is out now. We dig into it all and talk snacks.

AD93’s recent signing GB has an album on the way. After an inspiring period moving from Copenhagen to London, a conversation with Geordie Greep encouraged a group approach to future music with a focus on the collective delivery. We chat inside.
Wrapping up the artists features we give Manchester’s Truthpaste a call to discuss their new EP, Adelaide’s Swapmeet take a Zoom excited to have their new album ‘Mount Zero’ on the way, and LA’s Untitled let us in on their one in a million viral success. And, as always, Who Are You? introduces a handful of brand new names. This time we welcome Cusk, Jawdropped, The Healing Power of Horses, DOSS, Saint Clair and Rua Ri.
